Ruchira Amare is a Fashion Illustrator and Fashion Designer  based in Brooklyn, New York. Born and brought up in Mumbai, India, she was always interested in the field of arts. She pursued Engineering and eventually moved to being a full time fashion designer in 2015.

       She studied Fashion Design from Parsons the New School for Design, Engineering from University of Mumbai and studied art under several artists in Mumbai. She developed her own style and found her voice that suggests escapism, longing for the past lost memories and nostalgia.

She has worked with different companies like Junior gallery, DKNY, Donna Karan Collection, Elisabeth and James among others!
